John Constantine Joins Legends of Tomorrow

You can't keep a good exorcist down. Matt Ryan has dusted off the trenchcoat and been resurrected as Constantine for CW's Legends of Tomorrow. The fan-favorite character only lasted one season on NBC with the standalone Constantine series, but that's not surprising given the peacock network's insanely high ratings needs and consistent failure to support genre programming. After NBC pulled the plug, Matt Ryan made a guest appearance on Arrow, wherein his character was ported over "fully intact" as the man he was in his solo series.

Fans have been begging for more Constantine in the CW DC Universe for years, and, although a solo Constantine animated series is coming to CW Seed, voiced by Matt Ryan, that was never quite enough. Finally, the character has made a triumphant return, in live action form, to Legends of Tomorrow, where he is expected to stick around for two episodes. Sure ... it's a limited engagement, but it's another big step toward a full-time return to television.

In case you missed it, here is the scene in which Constantine makes his Legends of Tomorrow debut.
